Hello, dear listeners, film fans, soundtrack lovers, or those who want to be, or don't even know they are yet: We warmly welcome you to 35mm – Film Music from the Reel.

We are Peter and Suse! This is how we usually start our shows, inviting you to escape the madness out there for an hour. Put on your headphones or turn on your speakers, whether you're in the bathtub, cooking, or driving: just follow an hour of relaxed talk or intense discussions about films, soundtracks, composers, directors, series, and much more. The main thing is, it has to do with film, music, or tv shows.

The term "switching off" has a different meaning with us. We mean mentally switching off during our shows. What you mean, you can do after the hour.

Podcasting means a lot of talking. That's what we do for sure. It’s in our nature. But we don't just talk! No, no, no! Our concept was and still is essentially a radio show on demand. Half music, half information. What kind of music? Basically, film music. Or better, music from films, television, or even games.

That sounds like classical, tedious music. No! We like listening to that "boring" stuff too, but not only that. We also enjoy Marvel rock, pop tracks, or whatever else has been written for films. And it’s always packaged in themes.

Which themes YOU like, you have to decide for yourself. We like everything! EVERYTHING? Yes! Everything! Whether classical or pop, electronic or rock, everything is included and everything is there. Alongside, there’s always a lot of information about the song itself. There are often interesting stories behind it.

And sometimes we take a franchise as a theme, like Mission Impossible, Harry Potter, or the story behind the white rabbit. Or we absolutely have to report on a film and bring it as a shorty.

Basically, you can listen to our podcast anywhere where podcasts are available. However, the complete Music & Talk show is currently only and exclusively available on Spotify.
